TNO maakt hierbij bekend dat er kwalificatieprocedure gestart zal worden, betreffende de nieuwe meetmethodiek ‘Klein proefstuk’, ten behoeve van het meten van de vloeispanning en treksterkte van staal met behulp van kleine proefstukken. Deze methodiek is door TNO ontwikkeld om het toegankelijker te maken om van bestaande staalconstructies de sterkte te bepalen, door minder materiaal uit te hoeven nemen ten opzichte van standaard trekproefstukkenproefstukken. Deze methodiek is niet genormeerd, daarom is een kwalificatieprocedure nodig om aan te tonen dat de beproevingen op de juiste manier uitgevoerd worden. Hiertoe worden partijen uitgenodigd deel te nemen aan de procedure. Een positieve uitslag van de kwalificatie zal de basis vormen voor verdere acceptatie binnen het Rijkswaterstaat opdrachtensysteem.
