Das EW Wohlenschwil (EWW) versorgt als unselbständiges Gemeindeunternehmen der Gemeinde Wohlenschwil rund 900 Kundinnen und Kunden mit Strom.   Im Rahmen der Neuausschreibung der externen Betriebsführung unter Aufsicht des Gemeinderats beabsichtigt die Gemeinde Wohlenschwil, die Dienstleistungen des Elektrizitäts- und Wasserwerks (EWW) künftig aus einer Hand zu beziehen. Zu diesem Zweck wird per 1. Juli 2027 eine externe Betriebsführung gesucht. Das Wasserwerk ist nicht Gegenstand dieser Ausschreibung. Ausgenommen ist die gemeinsame Gebührenrechnung für Strom, Wasser, Abwasser und Kehricht gemäss Modul A3. Die Wasserablesung sowie die Pikettorganisation für das Wasserwerk verbleiben bei der Gemeinde beziehungswiese den zuständigen Partnerorganisationen.
