Description

Auf dem Grundstück Kat.-Nr. L1340, Bühlenweg 20 in Riedikon, betreibt die Leistungsgruppe Bevölkerungsschutz der Stadt Uster ein Ausbildungszentrum. Die Grundstücksfläche umfasst total 28'573 m2, wovon für das Ausbildungszentrum 10'400 m2, für die Vermietung an den Hundeclub 4600 m2 und für die landwirtschaftliche Verpachtung 9300 m2 genutzt werden. 4273 m2 sind Restfläche mit Wald und Moor. Das Ausbildungszentrum besteht aus diversen Übungsgebäuden und -flächen, sowie den zugehörigen Garderoben-, Schulungs-, Verwaltungs- und Lagerräumen. Die beiden Brandhäuser wurden in den vergangenen Jahren neu erstellt und sind auf dem neuesten Stand. Die Nebengebäude sind teilweise in einem schlechten Zustand und dringend sanierungsbedürftig. Mit dem Unterpachtvertrag für das Areal Zeughaus West an eine gemeinnützige Wohnbaugenossenschaft muss der Zivilschutz in absehbarer Zeit dieses Areal verlassen und benötigt neue Einstellflächen für die Fahrzeuge und einen Ort für den Zusammenzug. Aus diesen beiden Gründen wurde entschieden, das Ausbildungszentrum um ein neues Logistik- und Verwaltungszentrum zu erweitern. So kann der gesamte Zivilschutz an einem zentralen Ort untergebracht und Schulungen abgehalten werden.
