La consultation telle qu'exposée dans le présent cahier d'appel à candidatures, s'inscrit dans le cadre d'une cession amiable d'un terrain bâti appartenant à la Ville de Cavaillon. Elle a pour objet de susciter des projets immobiliers permettant de développer le parc privé dans un quartier accueillant à ce jour exclusivement des logements locatifs sociaux, et par là-même d'en diversifier l'offre dans un objectif de plus grande mixité sociale. L'exigence de mixité sociale est un enjeu fort du programme dans ce quartier qui compte aujourd'hui 100% de logements locatifs sociaux. Par conséquent, la commune et les partenaires du NPNRU attendent un projet de production de logements en accession à la propriété éligibles aux prêts à 0 % et en accession libre.
