Description
The European Commission intends to purchase data on batteries (supply, demand, past, current and future price per chemistry) used in new battery electric vehicles for the transport of persons in the EU. The deliverables of the project should be a series of monthly datasets containing historical, current and future data complying with the requirements of the Tender Specifications in terms of data coverage (such as share of overall volumes, vehicle categories, manufacturers), structure (such as possibility to disaggregate the data according to manufacturer, model, body, segment) and format (such as file type and language). A call for tenders with detailed Tender Specifications is expected to be launched with a two weeks deadline for the submission of tenders, with an indicative maximum value of the contract of EUR 30 000. A contract is planned to be signed in 2025 with the first datasets to be delivered shortly after the signature of the contract and as defined in the Tender Specifications.
