Online surveys for the Social and Behavioural Science team at ECDC

The Social and Behavioural Science team at ECDC is looking for a service provider experienced in market research and in conducting thematic surveys, with access to online survey panels that are representative of the adult populations. The contractor will be asked to carry out the recruitment and data collection for an online survey (hosted on RedCap) with 40-50 questions in three EU countries, yet to be defined. Recruitment should ensure a representative sample of the adult population of the country (based on age, sex and urban/rural), with a minimal sample size of 1000 completed surveys per country. In addition, we will require 300 completed surveys from a representative sample (based on sex and urban/rural) from the 18-30 years age group in each country. Collected data should be anonymised and securely sent to ECDC. No analysis of the data is needed. The estimated value of this negotiated procedure is 50.000 EUR. The value is subject to change and the exact amount will be indicated in the tender documents. The documents will be shared with the economical operators (who expressed the interest in participating in this procedure) in Q1 2026. ECDC plans to launch a call for tender later in 2026 to procure similar services in all 30 EU/EEA countries. Additional information will be announced in a Prior Information Notice in a due course.
