The Borrower is Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska, through a subsidiary agreement with the Borrower, has received financing in the amount of US$31.34 million from the World Bank and grant in the amount of US$ 3.5 million from the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, toward the cost of the Water and Sanitation Services Modernization Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction of sewer system for settlement Police The Agriculture Projects Coordination Unit (APCU), established within the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Republika Srpska now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for geometric marking of the sewer system; removal of asphalt-concrete pavement with transportation to a landfill; mechanical excavation of earth materials for laying sewer pipelines, household connections, and meter pits; combined excavation of trenches for laying sewer pipelines with disposal of excavated material to necessary distances from the trench; production of bulk and buffer layers from stone material; installation of asphalt layers at full width, as well as pedestrian sidewalks, including all necessary rolling and compaction; construction of inspection chambers-manholes; construction of the sewer pipeline HDPE corrugated; procurement, transport, and installation of concrete pipe culverts; construction of reinforced concrete channel MB30, using double-sided formwork; testing for waterproofing, cleaning, and flushing of pipes; other and accompanying works; final works; handover of facilities to end users in Trebinje. Bidding will be conducted through competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for Investment Project Financing (IPF) Borrowers: Procurement in Investment Project Financing Goods, Works, Non-Consulting, and Consulting Services, July 2016 (revised November 2017 and August 2018) (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
