Zahlungen an Subunternehmer innerhalb von 30 Tagen sind verpflichtend.

Beschreibung

Contract to provide pre-construction services to the New Fox Covert and St Andrews Primary School project, a new multi-denominational school building at the site of the existing Fox Covert & St Andrew RC Primary School. The current brief is for the Contractor to deliver a 1.5 stream non-denominational primary school and a single stream Roman Catholic primary school, incorporating shared facilities including dining, kitchen, administration and multipurpose spaces. Award against framework: Construction Works and Associated Services This is an award of pre-construction services following a mini competition utilising Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Construction Works and Associated Services Framework (Ref: RM6088) - Lot 3.4: Construction Works and Associated Services - Scotland. Subject to internal approvals and successful completion, following the PCSA period, the Contractor will enter into a construction works contract to carry out construction of the new primary school and nursery. This works contract is estimated to be in the region of 25M GBP. The mini competition was carried out with the intention entering into the two stage arrangement outlined above hence the choice of Lot and Agreement. A separate contract award notice will be published at the point of award of the construction stage should that be approved. It is a mandatory requirement of this Contract that a prompt payment clause is present in all Contracts used in the delivery of the requirements. This ensures payment of sub-contractors at all stages of the supply chain within 30 days and includes an obligation to provide a point of contact for sub-contractors to refer to in the case of payment difficulties. This will require active monitoring of payment performance as well as the provision of evidence and reports to the Council on request or as contractually scheduled. (SC Ref:837538)
