Opis
Le SCK CEN mène des recherches scientifiques de haut niveau dans diverses disciplines nucléaires et dispose à cet effet d'un vaste patrimoine, comprenant des infrastructures de réacteurs nucléaires, des cellules de laboratoire spéciales pour la manipulation de matériaux hautement radioactifs et divers laboratoires de recherche pour le développement de systèmes et d'applications nucléaires avancés. Les outils de conception 2D et 3D sont utilisés pour le développement de nouveaux équipements, installations, dispositifs et appareils par le groupe central de conception et d'ingénierie (DEO), le département d'ingénierie "Infrastructure" (ENG) et par un certain nombre d'autres utilisateurs dans des départements d'ingénierie spécifiques. Le type de travail de conception se situe principalement dans le domaine de l'ingénierie mécanique et de l'ingénierie structurelle.
