Description

Proposed peatland restoration project at Ardlussa Estate on the Isle of Jura. The aim of the project is to bring 235ha of degraded blanket bog back onto the road to recovery. A contract will only be issues if the project is successfully awarded funding from Peatland ACTION. This project is being advertised by ACT on behalf of the Andrew Fletcher's Ardlussa Trust. There will be a tenderers site visit on 23rd September 2026. To book a place on the visit or discuss further prospective suppliers should contact Lucy Smith, ACT Peatland ACTION Officer peatland@act-now.org.uk Tenderers should be aware that a Contract is dependent on Funding being achieved. The successful tender response for this project will be incorporated into a funding application to be submitted to Peatland ACTION. The contract will be with the Landowners.
