Het DRAGEN systeem, bestaande uit computer hardware en DRAGEN software, is ontworpen voor de analyse van grote next-generation-sequencing datasets. GenomeScan B.V. heeft op 25 februari 2025 een aankondiging van een gegunde opdracht gepubliceerd voor de aankoop van drie DRAGEN servers, inclusief licentierechten voor de analyse van 1 miljoen Gb DNA sequenties (TN512911). I.v.m. groei van het aantal en de omvang van de analyses, is er behoefte aan uitbreiding van de licentie met 2 miljoen Gb op jaarbasis. Deze rechten kunnen alleen door Illumina afgegeven worden.
