HASDEU-350293-CS-CQS Task title: Development of the project and design concept of the space "EduHub - CIHCahul" (company selection) The Higher Education Project in Moldova (PÎSM) is a project funded by the World Bank to be implemented between May 2020 and December 2025. The total cost of the loan is 35.7 million Euros (the equivalent of 39.4 million USD) financed by the International Development Association (IDA) and is provided to the Republic of Moldova in support of higher education in Moldova. The objective of the project is to improve the labour market orientation of the selected higher education institutions and quality assurance mechanisms. The project is organised around three components and includes systemic interventions in the areas of quality, funding and higher education management. A component of the FELT is the Higher Education Improvement Program (CIPP) to be implemented by the higher education institutions and pedagogical colleges selected to meet some of their most stringent needs in order to orient themselves towards the labour market. Thus, in order to achieve the objectives of the CIS, the Ministry signed with the IP of the "Iulia Hasdeu" College in Cahul the agreement on the underfunding of the sub-project "Creation of the Educational Hub (EduHub) within the "Iulia Hasdeu" College in Cahul" with the IP of the "Iulia Hasdeu" College in Cahul . Through this subproject, PI „Iulia Hasdeu” College from Cahul aims to achieve a set of interventions aimed at modernizing the conditions for organizing the educational process of teaching-learning-evaluation by creating a modern educational space or an educational hub called "EduHub - CIH Cahul". The Educational Hub will integrate into a common space 5 educational environments as follows: multifunctional room, 2 digital laboratories and 2 modern classrooms. The creation of the educational hub will contribute to the qualitative and quantitative increase of the performance of students from the Education Field and the improvement of employment. The proposed project is oriented towards achieving the following specificbiectives as follows: Modernization of educational spaces in order to improve the conditions of study, by providing with educational equipment and resources relevant to the initial professional training in the field of Education. Improving the initial training programs in the field of Education in order to increase the quality of the professional training process, by reviewing the curricular supports from the perspective of ICT implementation and the development of Critical Thinking. Strengthening the professional competences of the teaching and managerial staff in order to qualitatively implement the programs in the field of Education, through involvement in professional development activities. Thework of the project and design concept of the space "EduHub - CIHCahul" will be carried out for an area of - 503.6 m2, which includes a multifunctional room with an area of 159 m2, 2 digital laboratories with a total area of 125.7m2, 2 study rooms with a total area of 116.8 m2 , a video educational content production studio that will have an area of 16.5 m2, a storage space with an area of 15.8 m2 and afferent corridor 69.8 m2. The elaboration of the project will also include the execution of the technical project for the electricity compartment of the above-mentioned surfaces.
