Norway - Pharmacy services - Hire production services for sterile storage products - notification of signing of a new framework agreement with the existing supplier.

Sykehusapotekene HF (SAHF) currently has a framework agreement for hire production services for sterile storage products with HP Halden Pharma AS. The framework agreement expires in the first half of 2026 and SAHF plans to enter into a new six year framework agreement with the same tenderer. The regulations for import/export of the active substances/raw materials (ATC groups B05B, N01A, N02A, V03A) require, in practice, that the tenderer must be valid for Norway. Sykehusapotekene HF knows the hire production market well and has carried out a thorough market survey in the pharmacy and medicine environment. We have carried out an updated review of all companies with production permission given by DMP as of 2025. We cannot see any new suppliers in the Norwegian market offering this type of hire production services of sterile storage products. Our mapping suggests that today there is only one manufacturer who has the necessary qualified premises, equipment and personnel in Norway to carry out the hire production of a product portfolio that contains a-preparations and that is produced in accordance with the Pharmacy Act.
