Descrizione

The tender has been divided into 2 (two) lots: 1. International transport and handling of coins DNB regularly sells surplus coins from the Dutch stocks to other central banks in Europe. Coins are also sometimes exchanged or purchased. These are bulk quantities of euro coins transported between DNB’s Cash Centre in Huis ter Heide and the cash centres of other central banks in the Eurosystem (to be determined). 2. International transport of (semi-finished) banknotes This assignment consists of internationally transporting (semi-finished) banknotes worth up to EUR 15 million. The size of a transport varies from a single seal bag to multiple pallets. The transports take place between DNB and another national central bank, or between DNB and a supplier. We refer to the Selection Guidelines for further information. DNB regularly sells surplus coins from the Dutch stocks to other central banks in Europe. Coins are also sometimes exchanged or purchased. These are bulk quantities of euro coins transported between DNB’s Cash Centre in Huis ter Heide and the cash centres of other central banks in the Eurosystem (to be determined). The numbers of coins in such transactions have varied between 500,000 and 70 million coins per transaction in recent years. Two to four shipments of between 2 million and 20 million coins are expected per year during the term of the Framework Agreement. In such transactions, the Contractor is responsible for: carrying out doorto-door transport between the relevant cash centres in some cases, repackaging, cleaning and rolling the coins on its own premises in accordance with DNB requirements (these requirements may vary from one assignment to another) planning and coordinating the logistics with the operational contacts of the relevant central banks.; This assignment consists of internationally transporting (semi-finished) banknotes worth up to EUR 15 million. The size of a transport varies from a single seal bag to multiple pallets. The transports take place between DNB and another national central bank, or between DNB and a supplier. In many cases, the ECB requests DNB to carry out such a transport. The point of departure in most cases is the Netherlands, and the destination is generally in the eurozone, but occasionally outside (e.g. Japan, USA). An example of such transport involves transporting a test set in a metal case between DNB and a machine supplier in Munich. This test set is then returned to DNB after several weeks, at DNB’s request.
