Project: P504171 - Lifting Education Access and Resilience in times of Need in Ukraine Program Financing: World Bank GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE UKRAINE Lifting Education Access and Resilience in times of Need in Ukraine Program Education GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Grant No. TF0C5794 Ukraine has received financing in the amount of US$ 415,000,000 equivalent from the World Bank toward the cost of the Lifting Education Access and Resilience in times of Need in Ukraine Program (LEARN), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, non-consulting services and consulting services to be procured under the IPF part of the program (the Project). The Project will include inter alia the following procurement components: Support the New Ukrainian School Pilot (Grades 8-12) · Teaching & Learning Materials: Procurement of textbooks, digital resources, and interactive tools. · Teacher & Manager Training: Engagement of trainers, development of training materials, and delivery of capacity-building workshops. · Learning Environment Enhancements: Provision of furniture, ICT equipment, and lab kits. Strengthen the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (MoES) Management Capacity · Technical Teams Enhancement: Consulting services for strategic planning and monitoring. · Modernization of IT systems: Student Assessment Platform, Modernizing of AIKOM · Infrastructure Planning: Consulting services for school design standards, feasibility studies, and infrastructure planning tools. Project Management & Monitoring including recruitment of project staff, consulting services for fiduciary and technical support, and procurement of office equipment and project management systems. Procurement of contracts financed by the World Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (September 2023) (Procurement Regulations), and is open to all eligible firms and individuals as defined in the Procurement Regulations. After project negotiations, the World Bank shall arrange the publication on its external website of the agreed initial procurement plan and all subsequent updates once it has provided a no-objection. Specific procurement notices for contracts subject to open international competitive procurement will be announced, as they become available, in UN Development Business online, on the World Bank’s external website and official web site of the Ministry of Education and Science and Prozorro web site.
