Descrizione
This Contract Award Notice (CAN) relates to the award of a contract by the National Commissioner of the Icelandic Police for the purchase of six to ten motorcycles for police use in Iceland. A VEAT notice (No. 23389) was published in relation to the intended procurement. Two prior tender procedures had been conducted; however, no valid tenders were received in either procedure. In both procedures, a single tender was submitted, but it was rejected because the tender forms had not been completed correctly. Following the negotiated procedure without prior publication, the contract was awarded to the same economic operator that had submitted the tender in the previous procedures. On this basis, the contracting authority decided to proceed with a negotiated procedure without prior publication, in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Public Procurement Act. The negotiated procedure was conducted on the basis of the procurement documents used in Tender No. 23326.
