EEA/RES/25/012 - Provision of mental health and wellbeing services to EEA staff members

The EEA management recognises the increasing complexity of work and the continuous change in working lives of its staff. The EEA is committed to foster staff wellbeing, which is based on the dynamic concept of wellbeing at work, covering a more rounded approach from social wellbeing to physical, mental health and wellbeing at all levels of the organisation (individual, unit/department, management and organisational level). The objective is to provide staff members with timely and easy access to psycho-sociological support, to promote personal growth and development and to make healthier lifestyle choices with a goal to maintain and build a resilient workforce. The EEA envisages awarding a framework contract to a service provider for the provision of mental health and wellbeing services covering the following aspects: • Individual access for staff members or their direct family members to anonymous psycho-sociological support either online or in-person within the Copenhagen area. Some of the areas of support may be related to work and career, mental health, physical issues, family/relationship issues. • The facilitation of a mediation process at the EEA premises or online, if and when conflicting parties are willing to engage in a mediation process • Crisis support within 24hrs. • Follow-up on annual medical examination on concerning stress levels via referral by the EEA medical advisor. • Possible access to an online content platform related to self-learning tools, articles, webinars related to mental health and wellbeing. • Possible access to an optional online survey to measure the personal wellbeing based on self-test. • Real-time reporting dashboard for human resources to monitor and analyse uptake at organisational level and track budget consumption.
