Ukraine has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Additional Financing to Ukraine Emergency COVID-19 Response Vaccination Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Equipment for medical waste decontamination supply. 2. The Ministry of Health of Ukraine now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the purchase of the following goods: A set of medical waste decontamination equipment, including: - Steam sterilizer (pass-through type) - Air compressor with receiver - Water treatment plant for sterilizer steam generator Quantity: fifty (50) sets Final Destination (Project Sites) - 50 sites throughout Ukraine (Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovs'k, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Odesa, Poltava, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kharkiv, Rivne, Sumy, Volyn oblasts). Detailed information is described in the Bidding Documents. 3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” (November, 2020 edition) (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address below (1) during office hours from 10:00 to 17:00. 5. A complete set of electronic Bidding Documents in English and Ukrainian (a file in Portable Document File (PDF) format) may be received by interested eligible bidders for free upon the submission of a written application to the address below (1). 6. Bids must be delivered to the address below (1) before 2:00 p.m. local time on May 16, 2023 . Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below (2) at 2:10 p.m. local time on May 16, 2023 . 7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of one hundred thousand (100,000) US Dollars or its equivalent in the bid currency at the exchange rate of the National Bank of Ukraine (www.bank.gov.ua) as of the date fourteen (14) days prior to the bid submission deadline. A Bid Security shall be issued in the form of irrevocable Bank guarantee. Other forms of Bid Securities are not acceptable. 8.
