Description

The ESB Ecology Services Framework is being established to appoint suitably qualified service providers to deliver ecological consultancy services across ESB operations, including terrestrial and marine ecology, on a multi-party framework basis. • Provision of terrestrial ecology surveys and monitoring (e.g., habitat, botanical, ornithological, bat, mammal, herpetology, and invertebrate surveys) • Ecological impact assessments, appropriate assessment reports, and compliance reporting • Preparation of habitat and species management plans, biodiversity enhancement plans, and invasive species management plans • Data analysis, GIS analysis, and expert witness services; • Provision of freshwater ecology surveys and monitoring (e.g., water quality, physiochemical and biological assessments, fisheries and aquatic habitat surveys, eDNA analysis) • Ecological and environmental impact assessments, river restoration plans, and compliance reporting • Preparation of management plans for habitats, species, and invasive species • Data analysis, reporting to inform WFD assessments, and expert witness services; • Provision of marine ecology surveys and monitoring (e.g., digital aerial surveys, vessel-based surveys, intertidal and subtidal habitat surveys, acoustic monitoring, eDNA analysis) • Underwater noise monitoring and acoustic assessment • Data analysis, modelling, and technical assessment (e.g., collision risk modelling, population viability analysis, GIS mapping) • Ecological and environmental impact assessments, marine mammal mitigation plans, and compliance reporting
